Land the plane yourself

You lean back comfortably in your seat and enjoy the flight high above the Atlantic. You're already looking forward to your vacation, but suddenly a flight attendant pulls the curtain to one side and says anxiously, "Our pilots have food poisoning and can no longer fly! Is there anyone here who can land the plane?" When no one answers, you are dragged into the cockpit and pushed into the captain's seat... Fortunately, the radio is set correctly and the tower is already starting to calm you down and give you some initial tips.

In the professional simulator you can experience this exact situation up close and see 1:1 whether you can land the Boeing 737 airliner with the help of the tower.

Voucher / booking

You can tackle this landing challenge alone or in a team of two. Our vouchers are ideal as a gift, but this challenge is also very popular as a direct surprise, e.g. for a stag party. It shows who can keep a cool head in such a situation.

The professional simulator, which is normally used by real pilots to train their emergency procedures, is available daily by appointment. This simulator can simulate all possible situations, including smoke in the cockpit, and impresses with a dome in which the image is displayed at 210x40 degrees on a Collimate system. 

Implementation

There are four different situations to choose from:

Rooky - 60 minutes
Here you get the best information from the tower and your plane works perfectly, including autopilot.

Pro - 60 or 90 minutes
The tower gives you helpful information, but it could have been a bit more. At least the autopilot works as it should.

King - 90 minutes
Nerves of steel are required here. Not only are the pilots powerless, but the autopilot has also failed. Hopefully at least the tower will provide useful information.

Emergency - 120 minutes
Your plane is not having a good day today and many systems are not working as they should. The radio with the tower is also not working as it should. Only for stress-prone pilots!

I booked the Pro version, which was very exciting and felt totally realistic! Next time I'll try my hand at the King situation ... :-) Many thanks for the great experience.
