Balloon flight Switzerland

The Panorama balloon flight is the classic balloon flight and is the ideal introduction to ballooning. Various launch sites throughout Switzerland (Eastern Switzerland, Thurgau, Appenzell, Zurich, Lake Zurich, Schaffhausen, Central Plateau, Bern, Emmental, Jura, Basel, Central Switzerland, Lucerne, Lake Geneva, Lausanne) are available for this wonderful balloon flight.

The Location for the panoramic balloon flight can be chosen from Eastern Switzerland, the Central Plateau including Basel, the Bern and Emmental region, the Zurich region and Central Switzerland including Lucerne or Western Switzerland. The exact take-off location in these regions is determined individually according to the current wind conditions and the passenger's wishes. After landing, you will be taken back to your starting point.

The panoramic balloon flight takes place all year round, in the foggy areas from May to October. If you want to go ballooning at short notice, you can register here here. For longer-term bookings or as a gift, we recommend our vouchers.

Depending on the season and region, morning or evening flights are possible.

Launch sites
There are usually no fixed launch sites for panoramic flights. The exact take-off location in these regions is determined individually by the pilot according to the current wind conditions and customer requirements. After landing, you will be taken back to your starting point. The private balloon flight offers a very precise choice of launch site. The time required from the meeting point to the return to the launch site is approx. 1/2 day.

Panorama tour locations

The Panorama balloon flight takes place in many regions of Switzerland.

Experience the natural beauty of Switzerland from above during the balloon flight in Eastern Switzerland near St. Gallen, Appenzell or the Rhine Valley, in the Schaffhausen region near the Rhine Falls, the Central Plateau from Aarau to Solothurn, in the Emmental, near Basel in the Fricktal, the Bern region and in the Seeland near Biel, Lucerne, Zug, Zurich or in the Jura and the Lake Geneva region near Lausanne and Geneva. The exact take-off location is determined by the pilot depending on the wind and the passengers' place of residence. Or enjoy a hot-air balloon flight at a specific launch site of your choice on a private balloon flight. You can find the flights in the Bernese Oberland, Graubünden and Lake Walen region at Alpenfahrt.

The take-off in Lienz, from the fog towards the sun, was a breathtaking experience. At an altitude of almost three thousand meters, the view was simply spectacular. The flight over the Alpstein was indescribable - you have to experience it for yourself to really understand and enjoy it. After about two and a half hours, we landed in Appenzell Jakobsbad, and this landing was also a great experience. It was amazing how smoothly the pilot initiated the landing. After landing, we cleaned up the balloon and enjoyed a cozy aperitif at the end. I can only warmly recommend this experience. A big thank you to the pilot for this unforgettable experience. There were five of us and we all really enjoyed this unique and somewhat adventurous experience. Actually, it should never have ended ... Our very experienced balloonist, K. Petronis, made this flight even more interesting and exciting. The initial assembly and final disassembly of the balloon gave us a complete insight into the flight. We really appreciated being able to do it ourselves and not just sit in a "made nest".
