What prior knowledge is required for paragliding?

None at all. Your pilot will explain everything to you before take-off.

What are the physical requirements for a tandem paragliding flight?

Normal fitness is completely sufficient. If you can run a few steps, you can also paraglide.

How old do you have to be to fly a paraglider?

There is no minimum age for passenger flights. Until the age of majority, we only require the consent of a parent or guardian. We have special small tandem gliders available so that our youngest guests can also experience the fascination of flying. Please let us know when you register if you are under 50 kg. The minimum age for paragliding trial lesson is 15 years.

What about fear of heights when paragliding?

If you can ride a chairlift, you won't be afraid of paragliding either.

What do I need to take with me on a tandem paragliding flight?

In summer: good, ankle-high shoes, light windbreaker or pullover
In winter: Good, ankle-high shoes, possibly skis by arrangement, warm jacket and trousers or ski suit, gloves.

Am I allowed to take photos during the paraglider passenger flight?

At your request, your pilot will also take photos and/or videos with a special camera for a small extra charge.

Can I also steer the paraglider?

Your pilot will be happy to let you take the controls in a quiet minute. If you are interested in paragliding, he will also be happy to answer your questions about equipment and training. With the paragliding trial lesson you fly a few meters above the ground and steer the paraglider yourself. Always with radio support from the instructor, of course.

Where does the paragliding tandem flight take place in Switzerland?

Does the paragliding passenger flight take place all year round?

Yes, we fly all year round. The thermal flight only takes place from April to August due to thermal conditions.

Is paragliding an extreme sport and dangerous?

Paragliding is not considered a high-risk sport and is covered by the UVG in Switzerland. It is statistically much less dangerous than driving a car or horse riding. Students from abroad and people who are not gainfully employed must have their accident insurance confirm that paragliding is included.

How much does a tandem paragliding flight cost?

The Panorama paragliding tandem flight costs CHF 180, excluding cable car. The cable car can be booked as an option with a voucher or purchased directly on site at the mountain railroads.

Can whole groups also come paragliding?

Yes, paragliding flights are the perfect highlight for business or group outings. See Group excursions.

How long does paragliding take?

Our Panorama tandem flight lasts approx. 15 to 20 minutes. The thermal flight approx. 30 to 45 minutes. However, the flight time always depends on the current wind and weather conditions, as we fly without an engine.

How high can you fly with a paraglider?

The flight altitude depends on the one hand on the take-off altitude and on the other hand on the thermal updrafts. When thermal flight the pilot tries to climb with the warm updrafts to get above the take-off altitude. On good days this can be up to 3,000 m above sea level. However, the passenger can of course say if they do not want to fly that high. Such an altitude also depends on the day and can only be reached in optimal conditions.
