After taking off from the Bernese Oberland or Mittelland, your flight path will take you along the main Alpine ridge from west to east, past imposing peaks and small mountain villages. For the crossing of the Alps, you take off from Appenzell in eastern Switzerland, from where you leave the Alps behind you and land in Italy. Procedure
The launch site is located on the Central Plateau, in Vaud or in the Bernese Oberland, depending on the current wind conditions. The exact launch site will be discussed directly with the pilot. The flight then takes you westwards, depending on the wind strength, along the Bernese and Central Swiss Alps. After landing, you will be taken back to your starting point.

Suitable launch sites include the Gstaad region, Interlaken, Thun or near Chablais between Lake Geneva and Bex.
