Paraglider Trial Lesson

Fly a paraglider yourself

Practice makes perfect! The paragliding trial lesson takes place on a small slope in small groups. After a short introduction by the instructor and after you have gotten to know the paraglider, you will practice pulling it up for the first time. As you play with your paraglider and the wind, you will feel the force trying to pull you away from the ground.

You will be surprised how quickly you manage your first small jumps of a few meters. The better your progress, the higher up the slope you will take off and towards the end of the taster day you will be flying alone at a height of 5 - 10 meters above the heads of your friends and landing safely on the plain.

The two-day double trial lesson (only in the Glarnerland/Linthebene region) even includes a first short high-altitude flight of approx. 500 m altitude difference at the end of the second day. The paragliding instructor looks after you the whole time via radio link and guides you safely to the landing site. Perhaps this is the start of a great flying career? Your instructor will be happy to provide you with information about the paragliding training course and the costs of the paragliding school.

Included in the paragliding taster course is the complete paragliding equipment plus the supervision of a licensed paragliding instructor. The costs will be credited towards any paragliding pilot training at the respective paragliding school. We will be happy to provide you with a non-binding offer for a paragliding taster course for larger groups.
