Matterhorn glacier landing by plane
Aircraft glacier landings on the most spectacular landing sites in the middle of the Swiss Alps are an unforgettable experience far away from civilization. A glacier landing by plane - a touch of Alaska in the Swiss Alps. The meeting point for our glacier landing by plane is Beromünster airfield in central Switzerland. After the welcome, your pilot will tell you everything you need to know about the glacier landing and how to behave on the glacier. Shortly after take-off you can enjoy the fantastic view of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.

Following the Finsteraarhorn and the mighty ice flow of the Aletsch Glacier, you fly over the Valais in the direction of the Matterhorn. The unmistakable summit of the Matterhorn is visible from afar. As the pilot steers the plane past the Matterhorn, you can even make out mountaineers climbing up the Hörnligrat towards the summit. After these impressions, you set course for the Petersgrat. The pilot inspects the landing site in a wide turn and then gently touches the plane down on the glacier.
Important info
Due to the poor weather conditions in the 2023/2024 season, fewer passengers than usual were able to fly. Until the passengers on the waiting list have flown, we are unfortunately unable to accept any additional reservations.
Vouchers can still be given as gifts, but it will probably not be possible to redeem them until the 2025/2026 season. If the weather is very good in the 2024/2025 season, reservations will also be possible in this season.
As a short-term alternative, we recommend the Glacier landing by helicopter.
Note: This flight is a privately operated flight within the meaning of the Aviation Ordinance SR 748.01 Art. 100.

I liked it very much. Competent and friendly pilot! The only downside: getting in and out! With kind regards: Bruno Christ

The sightseeing flight with glacier landing went to my wife's complete satisfaction. The planning of the flight was a little more difficult. Although meteorological conditions were much better the day before, the flight could not be carried out that day due to a lack of participation. On the day of the flight, visibility was somewhat limited, which is why it was not possible to fly as far as the Matterhorn. The alternative route suggested by the pilot turned out to be an impressive flying experience. Thank you very much!

Matterhorn glacier landing on 7.4.2018
Very nice flight with a super pilot. Everything was right except for the information about the surroundings. Would be great if you could get some more information about the prominent mountains you see to help you find your way around this wonderful mountain world.

Hello
We had a great flight over the Bernese Alps and up to the Matterhorn. With a stopover on the Kanderfirst glacier.
Beautiful weather with a soft landing on the glacier and in Reichenbach.
A great experience to recommend.
Many thanks!
Kind regards, Martin Neiger
